KLA's Mardi Gras Ball is an elegant event held at the school for grades 5th through 8th. Middle school students campaign throughout the week, hanging posters, passing out favors and snacks during lunch. Once the court has been selected the students participate in our annual Mardi Gras parade throughout the neighborhood with the KLA marching units. The ball is held the following night at the school. Male students are looking debonair in tuxedos and female students are in their beautiful ball gowns looking like beautiful princesses.
